slip dress, the must of the spring season: the lingerie trend
It was the SS 2016 collection by Givenchy a year and a half ago to have revived, the trend ofthe nineties of wearing the lingerie in everyday life.
-the show was remembered for a long time for bringing to the fore silk and lace items which until then we'd only worn at night!-
Since then, the lingerie trend has proliferated among fashionistas and made this item became one of the key pieces of wardrobe of all of us.
slip dress, the must of the spring season: all the kinds
The most classic one is, as it should be the lingerie, the one in silk or satin. Lately, though, fashion houses and brands have enjoyed to decline the slip dress in different variants, from velvet for winter, to the fake leather, to get to sparkling sequined slip dresses for the evening.
-well, so on, so forth! -
slip dress, the must of the spring season: how to wear it
In the shots that I propose you today, I wear a fake leather slip dress combined with a white over shirt.
I chose what for me is the winning combo to match the key piece of the season.
-if in winter we saw it paired with cashmere turtleneck sweaters and knits, this spring the slip dress will be worn over the shirt or the tshirt for an essential, linear and chic look! -
I chose a simple white shirt, but you can match your slip dress as you wish choosing between blouses with ruffles, floral prints or vichy pattern.
In the evening, of course, the slip dress will be strictly worn without anything, then green light to strapless and seamless lingerie because the effect will be almost nude. Then you can complete the look with a pair of vertiginous and super low-cut sandals!
What do you think about this trend? Are you slip dress addicted?
